Evening Crystal Sound Bath in the Crystal Grotto at Painshill

Set within the breathtaking Crystal Grotto, this sound bath will transport you to a realm of magic and tranquility. Painshill’s Crystal Grotto, provides the perfect backdrop for this meditative journey. 

The spectacular Grotto is a magical, naturalistic cave with shimmering, bubbling water, rough rock and stalactites covered in sparkling crystals. Come rain or shine, it is a wonder. On a sunny day, shafts of light pierce the cool interior through carefully placed openings in the ceiling. The light makes the crystals sparkle as it bounces off the coral pools and lake water. If it's raining - no problem, the sound of the droplets on the water will equally soothe your senses. 

As you recline amidst the shimmering crystals, allow the resonant tones of crystal singing bowls, Himalayan bowls and chimes to wash over you, clearing away stress and fostering a deep sense of relaxation.

What to Expect:

• Guided Body Scan Meditation: Mary Elizabeth will lead you through a soothing body scan meditation, into a sound bath, helping you connect with your inner self and the natural beauty around you.

Schedule:

• 18:15 - 18:50: Make your way to the Crystal Grotto - it is a 20-minute walk around Painshill's landscape gardens, or a courtesy shuttle buggy will be available from 18:15.
• 19:00: Please ensure you have arrived at the Crystal Grotto by 18:50. Late arrivals will not be granted access.
• 19:00 - 20:00: Meditation & Sound Bath
• 20:00 - 20:15: Departures

• Parking: Free parking is available on-site.
• Accessibility: The Crystal Grotto is accessible, but please contact us in advance to discuss any specific needs. We can provide chairs if you'd prefer to sit during the sound bath rather than lie down on a yoga mat.
• Enjoy Painshill: You can also arrive earlier and enjoy the Painshill landscapes before the sound bath. Please allow plenty of time to arrive to the session as late arrivals will not be granted access,
• What to Bring: Comfortable clothing, water, and an open heart ready to receive the healing vibrations.
